“Can you style me even if we have different styles? I don’t want to dress the way you do.”

Yes, this is a question I’ve been asked multiple times and no, I don’t take any offense! The last thing I want is everyone walking around looking like me. How does that allow each of us to be our unique selves?

Let me tackle the first part of the question with this statement.

The only thing my clients have in common is that they feel confident and beautiful and calm about getting dressed after we work together. Their energy has been reset, and they’ve learned how to be selective and even creative when it comes to getting dressed each day. They even have a framework and plethora of outfit options already pulled together. Everything in their closet feels like the best version of themselves.

And here’s what they DO NOT have in common:

  • THE SAME STYLE
  • The same age
  • The same body type
  • The same weight
  • The same bank account & budget
  • The same pieces of clothing (ok, maybe there’s a smidge of overlap on basics)
  • The same life goals

Are you noticing a pattern? Each of them are completely unique and desire a style that brings out their uniqueness. Not a style that fits in with trends or how I’m dressing or how my last client dresses.

And it’s my job to get curious with you and bring out that inner essence in your style, not to simply dictate what you should wear.

Here’s one of my clients, the amazingly beautiful and talented author Amy Peele sharing her experience of The Style Awakening™. Click on the image at the top of this post to watch.

What I really want you to take away from all of this is that yes, you too deserve and can have a stylist. It’s not just for “certain people.” Well, as long as you want to feel confident and beautiful and calm about getting dressed:)
